Yet You Tread on the Narrowing Edge sounds beautiful and somehow… sad.. so it draws me in. So Pretty In Your Rusted Cage has the same pang of pain in it and I am also greatly drawn to Down the Painted Avenue… They are bitter and beautiful…

thank you for your inputs my lovely, lovely darlings <3 your answers are actually kind of perfect - “so pretty in your rusted cage” is my favorite, closely followed by “yet you tread on the narrowing edge.” so YAY it’s good to know that the kind of titles i’m leaning towards aren’t completely off-putting or horrible XD so those two will be my tentative title possibilities until/unless i think of something else later on. (which i have plenty of time to do, i don’t know why i’m letting myself get so stressed out about this alsdkfh.)

about using the extras as chapter titles: this fic is just going to be a one-shot. a possibly horrifically long one-shot, but a one-shot nonetheless XD DO NOT LET ME TRY TO MAKE THIS MULTI-CHAPTERED, DEAR GOD. the only way i’m letting that happen is if i somehow make this damn thing so long that i have to split it up to post it to fanfiction.net (since i’m pretty sure they have a word count limit on their chapters). i’m not sure what the limit is, but if i manage to surpass it…i’m going to be doing some hardcore headdesking.

i’m also vaguely fond of “Pretty Chains and No Last Name” but i realized that wouldn’t really work for a no. 6 fic because NO ONE HAS A LAST NAME. (grumble grumble atsuko what have you done.)

disclaimer: i will probably use none of these because none of them really strike me as THE TITLE yet - maybe with tweaking or if they grow on me between now and whenever i finally finish this fucking fic.

but yeah let me know if any of them actually appeal to you because i am curious about what kind of titles people gravitate towards.
